Diana Mini #3: These were from the La Jolla Cove, which I was not a big fan of. The place smells so bad that you have to hold your breath to take in the view. It smells like the wild life what with the pungent odor of the seals, birds and the excrement that are stinking up the sandstone cliffs. It was just too strong for me and maybe to everyone else.
But if you walk as far as from the smelly source, you will get to enjoy the sea breeze, the waves and just be.

Newport Beach: Showing photos when we went fishing Friday afternoon. My sisters and I also rented a double cab cycle and it was fun. There we also found this cutesy newspaper keeper dog. He was small but a terrible barker.
Tuesday’s happy mails came from China, Czekoslovakia, Cuba, Hongkong, Korea & New Mexico. I was so excited to get two Buddhist cards, one of a jade Buddha from my good friend in China @dobbychow & another one showing this year’s Wesak Festival from Korea which I received thru postcrossing.
I am almost done preparing my largest swap ever! @wing_zhangzhiyu needs to tell me what other 4 more cards she wants from my collection. I especially put fake stamps & cancelled them to make it look like they’ve been mailed by itself. I am so excited about this swap ‘coz she has the cards that I’ve been looking for - Tibet cards.
Today’s a pigging out day for me. Just because I missed having dinner last night, I am giving myself a reason to pig out today. I had lunch at Guppy Teahouse, I ordered their noodles with Taiwanese style deep fried tempura plus their homemade fries which I so love, kind of different taste from what we usually get in fast foods. And we had these In ‘n Out burgers for dinner. I am soooo fat!!!
This week’s incoming mail: from India,Taiwan, Hongkong, Japan, Malaysia, China, Lithuania, Denmark, Ukraine, Finland, UK, Italy, Alabama, Hawaii, New Mexico, Washington DC. And I love looking at these beautiful stamps..
10:40 pm: Yay! look what the good Chinese neighbor just brought me. My almost lost Polaroid package. That stupid UPS man left it on a different front door, now I have to call the shipper again to disregard the lost item report.
You can just imagine the frustration I felt earlier today when I found out nothing was on my front door when I received an email confirmation that the package has already been delivered. What a waste of bad energy. :D Well, I am happy already.
I still miss you everyday all these years later whenever I see things, hear things or think about things that I know would make you laugh…So, as for this blog, it’s just a blog… a chronicle of what runs through my mind & life and of all the things I’d tell you if you were still around. I do this not because you'll ever be able to read them but to remind me to remember you every day Ma.
